Important Achievement and Graduation Test Information The Ohio Achievement Tests are administered in grades 3-8 in the spring of each year. The results of these tests are utilized for student grouping for the next school year. In addition, the Ohio Graduation Test is administered in March to all high school sophomores as well as those juniors and seniors who have not yet passed each subject area of the test.
To ensure that your child reaches his/her maximum achievement level on these tests, please try to help him/her at home as much as possible. The following link from the Ohio Department of Education website offers invaluable information as well as practice for these tests. When you get to the site and click on the Grades 3-8 OAT button or the OGT button, you will find practice tests, released questions and their answers. If you choose the OGT site, be sure to click on the Student Site button once you are in there.
